About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our core product team. You'll work on building the next generation of fitness technology, from our AI-powered workout engine to real-time equipment integrations. This is an opportunity to shape the technical direction of a fast-growing startup and mentor junior engineers.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build responsive, performant frontend experiences with React and Next.js
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ship user-facing features
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Participate in on-call rotation for production systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with real-time data processing
- Background in fitness, health tech, or IoT
- Experience with mobile development (React Native)
- Contributions to open-source projects
